Features
terminal-keys
Android sends terminal key events. The iOS built-in SSH terminal sends terminal bytes directly; the iOS extension inserts text sequences for compatible terminal apps.
voice-input
Android provides keyboard-level voice input. On iOS, voice input is available in the built-in remote SSH terminal, not in the keyboard extension.
scp-upload
Android can pick an image. On iOS, copy an image first. KeyJawn sends it by SFTP to a host configured for SSH key authentication and inserts the remote path.
slash-commands
Both keyboards provide slash shortcuts. The Android full APK also supports custom command sets.
swipe-gestures
Android supports action swipes for delete, space, and layer changes. The iOS keyboard does not claim Android swipe behavior.
customizable-keys
The Android full APK lets you change individual extra-row slots. The iOS keyboard provides selectable extra-row presets.
number-row
Dedicated number row with long-press shifted symbols. Alt character hints visible on every key so you never guess.
Compatible with
Android and iOS have different keyboard APIs. Basic text works in normal text fields. Terminal sequences in the iOS extension depend on the receiving app. The built-in iOS SSH terminal sends them directly to the remote server.
